בעת שחי בפריז, חיבר אנדרה היידו ספר לגיטרה בשם "מיקרו-קוסמוס לגיטרה". הספר מכיל קטעים קצרים שנכתבו במטרה ללמד נגינה בגיטרה באופן המוזיקלי ביותר . שם הספר מתייחס ל"מיקרוקוסמוס לפסנתר" שהלחין בלה ברטוק. אנדרה היידו היה תלמידו של אנטון קודאי. המהפכה שחולל קודאי יחד עם בלה ברטוק בחינוך ה מוזיקלי בהונגריה , הניבה וממשיכה להניב מוזיקאים גדולים עד ימינו . איך אפשר להיכנס אל תוכה של המוזיקה מבלי לעסוק בשפה או ב דקדוק ה מוזיקלי ? כיצד להסיר את המכשולים העומדים בדרכם של ילד ו של תלמיד הלהוטים ללמוד מוזיקה ברצינות? במדינות רבות , הלך הרוח הפוליטי מכתיב בחירות מסויימות בחינוך. כך למשל לפני שיתחיל לתרגל עם ה כלי שלו, מחוייב התלמיד המתחיל ללמוד קריאת מוזיקה במשך שלוש שנים של שיעורי תיאוריה ושיעורי סולפז', דבר שגורם למערכת לאבד תלמידים רבים. תלמידים אלו פשוט לא מצליחים לגייס סבלנות מספקת כדי לדחות את תחילת הנגינה על הכלי שבחרו, והם זונחים את חלומם. הניסיון שצברתי במוסדות כ אלו איפשר לי להבין ולאפיין את האלימות ...
